Cookies are small files that sit on your device while you browse. This page lists every cookie we use on everligntek.com, what each one does, how long it stays, and exactly how to turn the optional ones off.
This policy explains how Everligntek uses cookies and similar technologies on everligntek.com and any subdomain or landing page we operate. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
Similar technologies means anything that reads or writes information on your device for the same purpose as a cookie: local storage, session storage, pixels, tracking scripts and software development kits.
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. On your next visit the browser sends it back, so the site can recognise the device, remember a preference or count a visit.
Cookies cannot run programs or carry viruses. They can, over time, build a picture of how a device moves around a site, which is why the optional ones need your consent.
Needed for the site to work: load balancing, security, form submission and remembering the cookie choice you made. These do not need consent because the site cannot function without them, and you cannot switch them off through our banner.
Help us understand which pages are read, which are ignored, where visitors arrive from and where they drop off. We use this to fix weak pages and to decide what to publish next. This category is optional.
Remember preferences such as a chosen region or a dismissed message so you are not asked twice. This category is optional.
We do not currently run advertising or retargeting cookies on this site. If that changes we will update this page and add the category to the consent banner before any such cookie is set.
The following services run on this site and may read or write cookies. Each one has its own privacy policy, and we have no control over the cookies they set beyond switching the service on or off.
If you follow an embedded link to a third party platform such as LinkedIn, X or YouTube, that platform sets its own cookies under its own policy once you are there.
You are in control of every optional cookie. There are three ways to change your mind.
Nothing on this site breaks. Pages load normally, forms still submit and links still work. We simply lose the aggregate measurement that tells us which content is useful. Strictly necessary cookies remain, because without them the site cannot be served securely.
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them and block future ones. The setting is usually under privacy or site permissions.
| Browser | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Chrome | Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third party cookies and Site settings |
| Safari | Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data and Prevent cross site tracking |
| Firefox | Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data |
| Edge | Settings, then Cookies and site permissions |
Blocking all cookies everywhere will break sign in and checkout on many websites, so blocking selectively is usually the better option. Clearing cookies also clears your saved choice on this site, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
Global Privacy Control. Where your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and as a rejection of optional cookies.
Do Not Track. There is still no agreed industry standard for how a website should respond to a Do Not Track header, so we do not respond to it. Use the consent banner, Global Privacy Control or your browser settings instead, all of which we do act on.
We re scan this site every quarter and update this page whenever a cookie is added, removed or changed. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.
If we introduce a new category of cookie, for example advertising, we will ask for your consent again before setting it.
Use the subject line Cookies so it reaches the right team quickly.
