About the Role

We are looking for a skilled BI Engineer with 3–6 years of hands-on experience in delivering enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, and Data Modeling. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining low-code business applications, analytics dashboards, and automation workflows aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom business applications using Power Apps.

• Build and publish interactive Power BI reports and dashboards for operational and executive use.

• Automate workflows and integrate systems using Power Automate and connectors.

• Develop robust data models, create calculated measures/columns using DAX, and optimize for performance.

• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and report development.

• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and deliver intuitive solutions.

• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Technical Skills Required

Must-Have Skills

Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven App development)

• Power BI (Data modeling, DAX, report publishing, performance optimization)

• Power Automate (Flow creation, integration with O365, SharePoint, etc.)

• SQL (Advanced queries, joins, data extraction)

• Data modeling (Star schema, normalization, relationship handling)

Nice to Have Skills

• Knowledge of SharePoint, Dataverse, or Azure SQL as backend data sources

• Familiarity with version control using Git and Azure DevOps

• Experience with REST API and custom connectors

• Basic understanding of Power Platform licensing and governance best practices

• Exposure to any other BI reporting tool

• Certification on any BI reporting tool is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field)

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

• Ability to independently drive delivery while working collaboratively in a team

• Passion for low-code platforms, BI tools, and continuous learning
